Purpose of processing
TinySharp processes data to provide image optimization, conversion, audit, account access, API authentication, quota tracking, support and billing-related plan activation.
Data categories
Data may include account email, API keys, connected site URL, plugin version, browser extension settings, selected image files, optimization statistics, support messages and payment provider identifiers.
User-selected files
TinySharp processes images that users upload, select in the WordPress connector or choose through the Chrome extension. Users should not upload files they are not authorized to process.
WordPress connector processing
The connector may send selected images, API key, site URL, plugin version and basic optimization statistics to TinySharp. Backup copies are stored on the WordPress site when the plugin backup feature is enabled.
Chrome extension processing
The extension scans the current tab only after user action. Guest usage is stored locally in the browser with a random installation ID. The extension does not fingerprint hardware. With an API key, selected images may be sent to TinySharp API.
Retention
TinySharp keeps account, usage and billing identifiers as long as needed to provide the service, protect against abuse, handle support and comply with operational or legal requirements. Temporary image processing should be kept only as long as necessary for the workflow unless a feature explicitly requires longer storage.
Security measures
TinySharp uses API keys, HTTPS endpoints and server-side access controls for hosted workflows. Users are responsible for keeping API keys private and securing their WordPress sites and browser profiles.
Subprocessors
Payment, hosting, email delivery or analytics providers may process limited data needed for service operation. Payment card details are handled by the payment provider.
