Account and API key

Create or open your TinySharp account from My Dashboard. Copy the API URL and API key into the WordPress connector or Chrome extension settings. Rotate the key only if you are ready to update every connected workflow.

Guest usage

Guest usage is limited and designed for quick testing. In the Chrome extension, guest usage is stored locally in that browser installation. On the WordPress connector, guest/local behavior depends on the public plugin workflow and local processing rules.

Plans and access

One TinySharp account can be used across the website tools, WordPress connector and Chrome extension. Premium and Agency plans increase hosted TinySharp API quota and connected workflow capacity.

Common image issues

Some browser images cannot be fetched by an extension because the source website blocks cross-origin or hotlink requests. In that case, download the file and use the TinySharp website upload tool, or use the WordPress connector for images on your own site.

How to connect your API key

Open My Dashboard, copy the API URL and API key, then paste them into TinySharp settings inside the WordPress connector or into the Chrome extension settings. If you rotate the key, update every connected WordPress site and browser extension that uses the old key.

Why optimized images may still show original URLs

Image optimization and frontend delivery are separate steps. A plugin can create optimized files in Media Library, while a theme, page builder, CSS background, CDN or cache layer can still serve an original image URL. TinySharp separates these controls so site owners can test safely before enabling frontend delivery.

• Optimize one image first and check Chrome DevTools Network → Img.
• Enable WebP/AVIF frontend delivery only after testing a page.
• Clear WordPress cache, CDN cache and browser cache after changing delivery mode.
• CSS background images and hardcoded URLs may need manual review.

How to use the Chrome extension

Install the TinySharp Chrome extension, open a page that contains images, click the TinySharp icon and run a page scan. You can find missing alt text, oversized images, missing dimensions and format opportunities. Local upload lets you optimize files from your computer.

How monthly quota and connected sites work

One TinySharp API key works across website tools, the WordPress connector and the Chrome extension. WordPress site limits apply only to connected WordPress websites. The website tools and Chrome extension share the same account quota but do not count as connected WordPress sites.

How to cancel or manage billing

Open My Dashboard and use Manage billing to view invoices, update payment details or cancel at the end of the paid period. Monthly and yearly subscriptions renew until cancelled. Lifetime access has no subscription renewal, but the monthly optimization quota still resets every month.
